Location
The Mechanics Laboratory is located in rooms B104A and B121 of Buckman Hall.
Capabilities
This laboratory is used for the study of basic experimental techniques in mechanics of materials and vibration of mechanical structures. Experiments include, but are not limited to, tension test, torsion test, stress analysis, shock testing, forced vibration analysis, mounting strain gages, and thin-wall pressure vessel.
Usage
The facility is used routinely to satisfy the instructional requirements of course ME 315 Mechanics Laboratory.
