Student Organizations

IEEE at UNH
The electrical and computer engineering programs sponsor a student section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. This organization supports visiting lecturers, educational workshops, field trips to surrounding industrial sites, and social events. For additional information visit IEEE.

Eta Kappa Nu
The national honor society for electrical and computer engineers, is represented by the Zeta Rho Chapter at the University of New Haven. This society exists to honor superior students and to encourage high scholastic achievement.

ACM at UNH 
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is a student group consisting of a variety of people with diverse backgrounds who share a common interest in computers. ACM is open to students, faculty, and staff in all fields at UNH. Within ACM, we have a variety of special interest groups (SIGs) that focus on specific areas of computing. From computer graphics to mobile computing, we have groups that cover everything.

Robotics Club
The UNH Robotics Club is a group dedicated to the creation of working robots. We work to provide a forum for learning about everything from hardware to electronics to parts fabrication to programming. Members come from a variety of backgrounds and bring knowledge from their areas. If you are interested in getting started in robotics or are experienced in robotics and want to network with other enthusiasts, you should join us. Newcomers are always welcome.

Linux Club
The Linux Club at UNH serves to provide an environment where students can find support on open source topics and projects. The capital mission is to promote the growth of the Linux and open source community.
