Ticket Distribution

Tickets

• Students will receive the number of tickets requested on the Participation Form (up to a MAXIMUM of 5 tickets)
• Tickets will be available for pick-up, along with academic regalia (cap and gown) at the Campus Store during regular store hours until Friday, May 17
  • Students must present student ID
  • Students will not be able to pick-up items for friends
  • Students may contact the Campus Store at (203) 933-4000 to have tickets and regalia mailed home for a small fee
• Students participating in the Commencement ceremony will not need a ticket for entrance to Oakdale Theatre
• All guests, including children over the age of 2, will require a ticket for entrance to Oakdale Theatre

ADDITIONL TICKETS
All additional tickets for the Commencement ceremonies have been distributed. Unfortunately, no more requests for additional tickets will be considered because we must adhere to the capacity rules set forth by Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre and the Wallingford Fire Marshal.

Please Note:
Selling or purchasing commencement tickets is prohibited by the University of New Haven. All allegations of ticket selling and purchasing will be fully investigated and violators will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including the offender being excluded from participating in the Commencement ceremony.

Seating

• Doors to Oakdale Theatre will open at 8:30 a.m. for the morning ceremony and at 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony
• Guest tickets are for reserved seats
• Programs will be distributed by ushers
• The procession will begin at 9:45 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 2:45 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony - Guests are asked to be in their seats at this time as the doors to the Theatre will be closed during the procession and will not reopen until all students are in their seats
• The morning ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and the afternoon ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. Both ceremonies will last approximately 2 hours
• Students and guests are asked to show respect and remain in their seats until the conclusion of the Commencement ceremony
• Individuals who engage in inappropriate or disruptive behavior may be removed from the area
• Students and guests are asked to silence all electronic devices
• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited
