Professional Convention Management Association

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is a nonprofit international association of professionals in the meetings industry whose mission is to deliver breakthrough education and promote the value of professional convention management. The principle purpose of the University of New Haven's PCMA Student Chapter is to familiarize its members with the basic aspects of the meetings and conventions field through educational and networking opportunities. Our student chapter aims to educate students through professional development in order to prepare them for a rewarding career in the meeting and event planning industry. We participate in community service around the area, plan events for students, and travel around the nation. UNH-PCMA is open to every student at the University of New Haven and we encourage students of all majors to join and enlighten themselves about the many opportunities open to them through PCMA.
