Education B.A., Trinity College Courses Taught ED 680 Contemporary Issues in Education Other Before he became the Education Coordinator for the University of New Haven's Southeastern Campus, Mr. Roberts spent 37 years as an Administrator, Teacher and Coach in a variety of public and independent schools. These included The St. Andrews School (Middletown, DE), Kingswood-Oxford School (West Hartford, CT), and The Galloway School (Atlanta, GA). He was also the Headmaster of The Williams School (New London, CT), and most recently the Principal of East Lyme High School, CT from which he retired in 2008. He has also taught in the education department at Connecticut College and was the college's lacrosse coach. He has served on numerous state and local boards regarding education and community matters. As the UNH Southeastern Education Coordinator, Roberts assumes a variety of responsibilities. He hosts admission sessions, meets with prospective students, advises all students based at the New London campus, teaches education courses, hires part-time faculty, and generally acts as the liaison between the Education Department and the Southeastern Campus' students, faculty and the community in general. |
